Free Trade Zone Companies
Clients wishing to pursue their business from a free trade zone in Uruguay rely on our advice on legal, accounting and tax matters.
We offer Free Trade Zone users the following services: Company incorporation and assistance in structuring and implementation of operations and ensuring the approval of contracts and business plans to be submitted to the relevant authorities. We prepare the necessary documents to hold Ordinary Annual Shareholders’ Meetings. Our services include the calculation of wages, the payment of social security contributions, the preparation and filing of information required by the National Institute of Statistics (INE, by its acronym in Spanish) and the Uruguayan Tax Authorities (DGI), and the preparation of annual Financial Statements.
Companies from other jurisdictions
We assist international clients from other jurisdictions in the incorporation and management of companies, as well as of trusts and foundations, whether directly or through first class local correspondent firms, with a view to channeling investments in the international market. We assist clients in the regulatory and governance aspects of these structures and provide advice on accounting matters and on matters related to CRS, FATCA and Economic Substance.

Management of Investment Funds (IFs)
The Firm provides the service of incorporation and management of IFs in several jurisdictions.
Following the creation of the IF, we manage its entire accounting process, i.e., NAV Calculation, cash flow control, bank reconciliation, recording of economic activities related to financial instruments and other assets and liabilities. In addition, we monitor all corporate and regulatory aspects of IFs to ensure due compliance with the relevant regulatory framework.
The technology we use enables us to prepare more than fifty types of reports for each client, which helps us to view and analyse its IF from the most suitable perspective including all the variables required.
Clients wishing to check the financial reports of their IFs can access our on-line portal from any computer or device connected to the Internet.
Consolidation of investment portfolios
We provide investment managers independently managing clients’ equity and financial portfolios with a comprehensive analysis of the portfolios operated, and a set of tools to analyse their investments, while also making available to their clients full consolidated reports showing the status and position of their investments.
Accounting and data processing for financial entities
We offer investment banks, private banks and investment advisors the possibility of outsourcing back office and middle office processes through our online environment. This enables such clients to direct their resources to the businesses they pursue, reducing operating requirements and ensuring efficient management.
